Austin is a first-year Robotics MSE student at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Robotics and Control Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and currently serves as a Second Lieutenant on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. His academic focus centers on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Reinforcement Learning, with a specific interest in the optimization and deployment of multi-agent systems. At Penn, he aims to explore autonomous systems and advanced algorithmic design within the GRASP Lab. Outside of his academic and military commitments, he enjoys backpacking, camping, skiing, and fitness.
