Ethan is a 4th-year undergraduate submatriculating into the ROBO Master’s program, advised by Prof. Dinesh Jayaraman in the PAL Lab. His research in model-based reinforcement learning has spanned calibrating uncertainty in stochastic world models and now focuses on leveraging uncertainty to develop more efficient policies. Outside of research, Ethan is deeply involved in music at Penn, serving as concertmaster of the Penn Symphony Orchestra and as a pianist in the Marian Anderson Performance Program. He also leads software for Penn Aerial Robotics, captains the Penn ICPC team, and plays as entry for the Penn Valorant Team.
