** ROBOCKEY 2013 ***
It’s time for the fifth-annual Robockey tournament!
As
this year’s mechatronics class is drawing to a close, many of you have
already born witness to the growing flurry of activity around the GM
lab. With the course bursting at the seams, we have a total of 27 teams
registered for the fifth-annual Robockey tournament taking place this Thursday, December 12th, in Levine Hall’s Wu & Chen Auditorium.
We will be running the early rounds of the double-elimination
tournament throughout the day, then transition to the final 12 matches
starting at 6:00 p.m. Even if you can only stop in for a handful of
games during the day, I’d highly encourage you to do so – the
engineering behind these robots is truly staggering for a four week
project. The evening is sure to be thrilling and a bit raucous, as
anyone who’s been there before can attest.
