The University of Pennsylvania RASC-AL team passed the qualifing round
has been accepted for competition at the inaugural RASC-AL Robo-Ops
Forum.
The RASC-AL Robo-Ops Challenge will be held from May 23 – 26, 2011 in
Houston, Texas. Challenge activities will take place at the Hilton
Houston NASA Clear Lake Hotel, as well as the NASA Johnson
SpaceCenter. Faculty advisors and two students from each team will
physically attend the Robo-Ops Forum. Remaining team members will
participate in the competition from the home campus – these members
will be responsible for operating the rover remotely via on-board
camera transmissions.
