Aritra Mitra was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering, University of Pennsylvania, where he is working with Professor George Pappas and Professor Hamed Hassani. Prior to that, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in August 2020 from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University.

His research interests broadly span the areas of Control and Optimization, Statistical Signal Processing, Sequential Decision-Making, and Network Science.
