Robotics MSE '17 - Tesla

Guthrie catalyzes innovation at Penn as a Co-Founder of WeissLabs. A Senior M&T studying Mechanical Engineering, Guthrie submatriculated into the Robotics program to pursue his interest in computer vision. He intends to make a career at the intersection of technology, innovation, and venture capital. With an aptitude for entrepreneurship and passion for renewable energy, Guthrie has found himself in energy-related positions across the globe from LP Amina in Beijing to Tesla in San Francisco. When not playing Al Gore, Guthrie enjoys shredding the slopes in New Mexico, channeling Dave Brubeck as a jazz pianist, and spotting unicorns before they are exposed. He is a professional tinkerer.​
