Robotics MSE '19 - Mechanical Engineer, Formlabs

Hi, I’m Adnan!
I’m a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Engineering Entrepreneurship. I am passionate about the process of taking innovative ideas from design sketches to reality. I really enjoy the juncture between mechanical and electrical design, and want to graduate with a Master’s degree in Robotics. Outside of my academic life, I am a member of Penn Electric Racing, a student-run club that builds electric race cars for competition.

When I’m not in a lab, I enjoy powerlifting, playing guitar and drawing. My time in Mechatronics has left me a lot more interested in guitar electronics, and I am planning on designing and making a guitar distortion pedal sometime in the next few months. I’m a member of Penn Barbell Club, an organization of weightlifters and powerlifters that train in the pursuit of a fitter lifestyle. I am also a lifelong comic book fan, and love exploring the storytelling capabilities of the graphic novel medium.
