Lauren Jiang is a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind working on Gemini personal intelligence. She receives her Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of Pennsylvania in 2026, where she is fortunate to be advised by Prof. Camillo J. Taylor at the Penn Engineering GRASP Lab and collaborates with Prof. Dan Roth and Prof. Lyle Ungar. Her research focuses on personalization and memory, reinforcement learning and post-training, synthetic data and evaluation, and multimodality for AI agents at scale. She received her B.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with highest honors and Bronze Tablet distinction in 2021, advised by Prof. Sanmi Koyejo and Prof. Yoram Bresler. She has also been a research intern at Microsoft and a visiting student at Argonne National Laboratory.
