Siddharth Mayya is currently an applied scientist at Amazon Robotics in Boston, MA. Prior to this, Siddharth Mayya was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics working with Dr. Vijay Kumar from 2019-2021. His research focuses on the design of scalable and resilient coordination algorithms for robot swarms operating under difficult conditions – ranging from extreme sensory limitations to environmental and adversarial disturbances. He has worked in related areas such as multi-robot coordination, building multi-robot systems for education & outreach, as well as task & motion planning for robotic bin packing applications. Siddharth received his Master’s in 2016 and his PhD in 2019 from the Georgia Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Dr. Magnus Egerstedt at the GRITS Lab. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 2014 from the Manipal Institute of Technology, India.
