The Scalable Autonomous Robots (ScalAR) Lab is an interdisciplinary lab focused on fundamental research in control and coordination of many robot systems.   Primary focus areas include: design of novel robotic platforms and planning, control, and coordination strategies that harnesses the environmental dynamics for improved long term operations; coordination of heterogeneous robot swarms; and tracking and estimation of invariant features features in geophysical flows.

The lab is under the direction of Prof. M. Ani Hsieh and laboratory members consist of students and post-docs with backgrounds in engineering, computer science, physics, and math.
